Unfinished music video

This is the first draft of the music video where we did not have all the footage and the editing was not as on point as we would want it, in regards to the on beat editing as well as the colour corrections. We will aim to, in some shots, match the colours to make the transitions a bit more smooth to make the video seem more professional. Nevertheless,  I believe we are on the right tracks.

Permission e-mail

As a group we have sent an e-mail to The Fray management to ask for an approval for us to use their song. This will prevent any copyright issues when the music video is finished, therefore we will be able to post it on YouTube.

Font analysis for digipak

Here are some of the fonts that we have thought would be suitable for the digipak:

The above font is very simplistic and professional and symbolises seriousness. This would work well with the brand image that we want to have our artist portray because we aim to have a serious iconography.

This font is also simple and might work well with the digipak, however I realise that it may be seen as a bit feminine and would be good for an artist who has a girly but professional brand.

The Augustus font is extremely clear and easily visible which might be suitable for the brand image that we are trying to portray, however one issue with this font is that is seems a bit old, almost as it was from the 1800s which is the complete opposite of our narrative.

The font above is also very simple which is what we are looking for, however the letters are a bit too close to each other which might mislead the audience by giving them the idea of the artist having a connection with our other actor which would be confusing.

CD draft

The image below is one of the drafts for the CD within the digipak. We went for the theme of time being precious to emphasise the fact that we shouldn't waste the time.

However, after a conversation with the members of my group we have decided that we might want a more classy and much simpler approach, therefore we have come up with the following idea.
